Neal East, CEO

Neal East is a 25-year veteran of high technology sales, product development, and executive management and has worked on the successful development and eventual sale of 3 high tech startups prior to joining Xtime. As CEO of Xtime, Neal has been instrumental in the company’s rapid growth and success in the automotive service sector. During his tenure as CEO, the company has grown at a sustained rate of over 100% per year and is now the recognized leader of online service scheduling and CRM solutions for the automotive service market with nearly 10% of all US dealerships under contract. Prior to Xtime, Neal was a founding executive at Dorado Inc., the leading provider of web-based solutions for the trillion dollar U.S. mortgage industry which is now 25% owned by First American. Neal also was President of Enterprise Engines, Inc., a pioneer in Web ERP, which was purchased by QAD in 1999, as well as Senior Vice President of Sales for GemStone Systems, a pioneer in Java Application Servers, which was purchased by Brokat in 1997. Neal began his career at IBM, where he held a variety of sales and management positions. Neal has lived and worked in both Asia and Europe and holds a BA degree in Political Science and Business Administration from the University of California at Berkeley.

Adam Galper, CTO and Vice President of Engineering

Adam Galper joined Xtime in 2002 to spearhead the development and delivery of ServiceCRM. As CTO and Vice President of Engineering, Adam is responsible for the Xtime technology platform, for building the development, quality assurance, and engineering operations teams, and for delivering product to the marketplace. Adam is an experienced software entrepreneur, who has previously founded several venture-backed enterprise software startups, including Presidio Systems (acquired by PFWD) and Rapt (acquired by MSFT), and systems development consultancies. Adam has over 20 years of product development experience spanning multimedia, expert systems, data warehousing, and mission-critical enterprise software across numerous industries. He has published research in a variety of fields including medical informatics, bioinformatics, and probabilistic reasoning. He has degrees in Computer Science, Biochemistry, and Medical Informatics from Yale College and Stanford University.

Dave Smith, Vice President of Finance

Dave Smith joined Xtime in 2004 and brings 30 years of diverse financial experience. He began his career as a CPA with Deloitte & Touche, and then joined the private sector in financial management. He has been VP, CFO or Controller for companies in the service industry (CFO for Source Services and Intersoft), real estate (VP at Fox & Carskadon Financial Corp), manufacturing (CFO at Alpha Modular Systems), and more recently in the software industry. He was responsible for all financial, administration, & HR for two startup software companies, one venture backed. Dave received his MBA from University of California at Berkeley.

Thomas Tish, Vice President, Xtime Consulting Services

Thomas joined Xtime in 2002 to retool and provide operational direction for Xtime’s Professional Services Department. An 18-year High-Tech professional, he is currently charged with executive management, providing consultative services to Xtime’s enterprise-level clientele (Automotive Groups, OEMs and Partners product definition & design, and enterprise customer implementation management & oversight). Beginning his career as a Microsoft Certified Engineer for Vanstar Corporation, Thomas moved on to become iXL Inc.’s Western Region Professional Services Director — a $7.5 billion Atlanta-based Web Development and Internet Strategy firm focused on Fortune 500 companies — where he was pivotal on the following accounts: Virgin Airlines, AT&T, Delta Air Lines, General Electric, Compaq, & Cemex Inc. Subsequently, Thomas was a member of a team that purchased iXL’s Western Regional offices (San Francisco, Los Angeles, Portland, and Seattle) to create WaterStone Inc. where, as the Regional Managing Director and Executive Vice President of Operations, he had operational, professional services, technical services consulting responsibilities and oversight. Thomas attended Avila College’s Undergraduate and Graduate Schools of Business; focusing his studies on International Business & Finance.

Mike Timo, Vice President of Production and Support

Mike Timo joined Xtime in 2006, and brings 25 years of experience in the computer industry. Mike has held a wide range of industry positions, including programming, systems engineering, technical management and strategic planning. He has worked for both large corporations (including 12 years with IBM) and small start-ups, and has provided management consulting for major corporations such as ACCO Office Products, Kensington Peripherals and ABN-AMRO Bank. Mike graduated magna cum laude with a BS degree from the State University of New York at Albany, and holds an MS Degree in Computer Science from the State University of New York at Stony Brook.

Jim Coleman, Vice President of Sales

Jim joined Xtime in July 2004 as Eastern Sales Director, and was recently promoted to Vice President of Sales. Jim has 20+ years of automotive experience, spending seven years with Ford Motor Company as a District Sales Manager, Distribution, Truck Merchandising, and Business Development Manager, followed by thirteen years in retail, 7 as a General Manager/Dealer Principal of a top ten Jeep Dealer in Columbus, OH. After leaving retail, he developed several automotive solutions including service scheduling and marketing programs. Jim earned his BBA from the University of Toledo, earning degrees in Marketing and Logistics, Jim worked his way through college working in various full time positions with Consolidated Rail Corporation.
